First Race of The Season in the TCR-UK Series

The first race of the 2019 season was at our home track Donington Park so we were feeling confident.

After a long Winter break, we had had time to work on the car’s performance and Opel had changed their TCR partner to the experienced Lubner Motorsport.

Early conversations with Lubner left us feeling very optimistic for the future races and the race weekend began with Darelle qualifying in 3rd place.

Race one was difficult as Darelle struggled to get enough heat into the tyres and he slipped down the field to finish in 5^th position.

That meant we would start race 2 in 5th place. For most of the race, Darelle was involved in a 3 car battle for 3rd place, eventually taking the final place on the podium.
